Starting his career in radio and music television in New Zealand at the age of 14, Nick evolved to presenting on Music Television, writing, directing and hosting his own long-form TV shows, including the award winning ‘Making Tracks’ for the National Geographic Channel. This series saw him exploring global music culture in more than 70 countries around the world including numerous episodes filmed across the African continent. In 2019 he wrote and directed the ‘Captains Of Africa’ short-doc series for BBC Storyworks, showing a snapshot of contemporary urban Africa which earned him a nomination that year at the UK's Onepointfour Awards. Nick was also the creator behind the critically acclaimed Red Bull documentary series ‘Diggin’ In The Carts’ which explored the history of Japanese video game music and has been viewed over 3 million times. Nick resides in Tokyo, writing and directing compelling content for some of the world's foremost brands.
