Adrien LaCoste

Adrien is a Tokyo-based French director who makes narrative films, documentaries, web-commercials and music videos. In 2012, he moved to Japan to start his filmmaking career. He first worked as an editor/colorist for Nihon TV and then made his way into directing through various experimental projects. In 2017, Adrien’s short film “The Future Looked Bright” was selected for the Short Shorts Film Festival. From then on, he has been involved in directing numerous web-commercials, with an emphasis on car content and fashion. In 2023, his debut film "Utakata" was selected to Skip City International Film Festival.
