Vitamin Water Photo Studio

In summer 2009, for the launch of the hip beverage vitaminwater, Glaceau were looking for fresh ideas to create buzz around their pop-up space on the 8th and 9th floors of the H&M building, in the youth fashion mecca Harajuku.

SET created a photo studio, giving visitors the chance to have a photo session with a leading photographer and the thrill of being a model for a day. Participants dressed up and posed with their favorite flavor of vitaminwater and received fun, colorful postcards containing their photo as well as a SET designer QR code, linked to the vitaminwater website.

The photo sessions were a huge success with both the public and the client. Over 1000 people modeled at the studio. As well as being distributed to the “models”, the photos have been used on billboards for the 2010 and 2011 promotions. Additionally, the concept itself has now been exported by Glaceau to almost 20 markets across the planet.
